Materials & Paints

Each custom toddler busy board is handcrafted using sustainably sourced pine timber. We hand-paint every board with 100% non-toxic, VOC-free paints - completely free from lead, ammonia, formaldehyde, and phthalates. Every sensory board is sealed with food-safe varnish for extra peace of mind.

Our toddler busy boards are fully personalised and made just for you. Choose your board size, colours, your child’s name, and from over 50 engaging sensory play items. No two boards are ever the same.

Ideal for children aged 6 months to 3 years (always under adult supervision).

Every board layout is unique. It’s carefully arranged based on the items you select and the length of your child’s name. Rest assured, we obsess over every detail to create the perfect toddler busy board for your little one.

Mounting & Play Style

Our boards are designed for flexible toddler play. Use them flat on the floor, on a tabletop, or safely leaning against a wall or window. Each custom busy board includes removable suction cups and adhesive strips to keep it stable. Wall mounting with nails is also an option.

Each custom toddler busy board is highly personalisable. Choose from 8 unique background designs, 19 colours (including duo-tone), and 50+ sensory play items. You can even add your toddler’s name and choose the colour it’s painted in. There's lots of flexibility, and you’re welcome to include notes or creative requests in the additional info section.

Can I choose exactly what goes on the board?

Yes! You select the items for your custom sensory board from our full range. The number of items depends on board size:

Small: 6–8 items
Medium: 9–14 items
Large: 15–20 items

If there’s extra room, we may add items that fit well with your selection. If you have any must-haves, be sure to list them in the additional information section and we'll prioritise those first.

Will I get to see how my board will look before it's made?

Yes! Within 24 hours of placing your order, we’ll email you a custom layout of your board. You’ll be able to check the design and confirm you’re happy before we begin crafting it. Once approved, your board goes into production and at that stage, we’re unable to make changes. If we don’t hear back within 48 hours, we’ll proceed with our recommended layout to avoid delays.

Can I make changes after placing my order?

Because every sensory busy board is made to order and permanently assembled, we can't make changes after production begins. If you need to make adjustments, please email us within 3 hours of placing your order.

Is this suitable as a gift?

Do I need tools to install or use the board?
